Fishing from/on a paddle board? Yes!

If you know the Dragonfly Boatworks' crew then you'd know they have no fear of venturing into the unknown (i.e. fishin' from a 'board). So, here we go. The Dragonfly 13.6 and 10 are designed for light-tackle fishing: plug casting for bass or fly fishing for bonefish and all the ways and species in between.

Notice that each board bears a specifically-designed hull shape. The shape reflects the skills Dragonfly Boatworks gleaned from years of building successful fishing skiffs. The patented non-slap hull eliminates the noise of a more conventional paddle board. Already, you're closer to your target and already, you're positioning yourself for a perfect cast. Each feature of our boards has been tested under real-world conditions. You can count on test after test, refinement after refinement, in building a board meeting our demands. We're ready to let our boards meet yours.

A design from the kayak market and an easy way to secure a cooler bag or insulated fish container by using the criss-crossed bungee cord.  We do more than glue the tie-down cups.  Ours are actually glassed in.
The recessed deck came about from trying to keep the water off it.  A nice little side benefit was it kept the fly line on the non-skid.  You'll enjoy a little more security when you're rigging a rod.
In a perfect world the wind never blows when you're fly fishing.  But, it does and when it really kicks up, Jimbo designed a small, light-weight basket to hold your fly line and rod.
We all think we can paddle all day but every once in a while it sure is nice to sit down, take a break, rig your rod or have a quick drink.  The padded seat is designed for comfort and includes easily accessed saddle bags on both sides.
“You should have seen the one that got away.” “It was this big.” Now you can prove it using the rail measuring sticker.  Hold your catch alongside it for the real length before you release the fish.
You're paddling along looking for fish.  Now that you've spotted one, what do you do with the paddle?  Easy.  Use the paddle clip on your belt to quickly and quietly snap the paddle in place and make the shot.  It's an easy way to maintain your paddle under all sorts of conditions.
The fishing crew at Dragonfly Boatworks always wants to get shallower.  When they reach the spot where they can't go any farther with the board's regular fin, the cry goes up, “the board's floating, we should be able to get closer.”  Aye yi yi…templates and prototypes later and we've come up with a fin for the whisper zone.
